Today at MRO Americas 2022 in Dallas, HYDRO Systems signed a license agreement with Pratt & Whitney covering engine stands for Pratt & Whitney GTF™ engines for the Airbus A220 and Embraer E-Jets E2 aircraft families.
HYDRO Systems, the world market leader for Ground Support Equipment, Maintenance Tooling and Global Service for the repair and manufacture of aircraft or engines, signed today at MRO Americas 2022 in Dallas a license agreement with Pratt & Whitney covering engine stands for regional GTF programs.
“Our customers appreciate Hydro’s broad product and service offering. We are excited to add regional GTF program engine stands to our licensed portfolio and proud to expand the support for our strategic collaborator Pratt & Whitney and our common MRO and Airline customers.” says Dr. Thomas Rupp, EVP Tooling of Hydro Systems KG.
The agreement supports HYDROS strategy to enlarge its engine stand portfolio and with that help its customers in their needs. By offering the PW1500G stand HYDRO can provide its A220 customer an even more complete one stop shop solution package for its maintenance needs.
It is the result of a very well-functioning relationship over a decade with Pratt & Whitney and is an expression of a shared vision for innovation.
“The agreement between Pratt & Whitney and HYDRO Systems is all about meeting our customer needs and ensuring that their operations run smoothly,” said Mark Freeman, senior director of Aftermarket Supply Chain, Pratt & Whitney.
HYDROs PW1500G Engine Transportation is designed for safely transporting PW1500G engines by truck, train, air, and sea. The engine is protected by a shock attenuation system between baseframe and cradle as well as by shock absorbing casters.
