The challenge:

Final assembly line for different aircraft: CASA CN235/CN212

 

The customer:

Indonesian Aerospace (PT Dirgantara Indonesia)

 

The solution:

The CN235 and the CN212 have nothing in common, but needed to be manufactured on one single platform. The project covered all the steps of our Engineered Solutions process and provided Indonesian Aerospace with a complete package. From the first appointment to project completion with everything from a single source: Concept specification, development, design, manufacturing and implementation, all in line with international project management methods.
Although two aircraft had to be manufactured on one single final assembly line, ergonomic access has been guaranteed.

The project was completed in less than 12 months, 2 weeks before the agreed delivery date and passed the final acceptance and fit check on the first try.
