Pit Systems
The pit systems serve as an under-floor solution to provide aircraft with 400 Hz power as well as other utilities during aircraft servicing at the terminal or maintenance in the hangar. They are simply opened with a single touch and all required ground supply is available next to the aircraft. Therefore, the airplane can be easily, fast and safely connected to the 400 Hz ground power. The pit systems can hold up to four 400 Hz or 28 VDC cables or up to two PCA-hoes plus additional supplies as needed. The Pits are available as Hatch or Pop-up Systems and are individually configurable. All pit systems can hold loads up to 90 tons.
