The TJ Series are wide-body tripod-jacks with a maximum configuration. Starting from the simple pneumatic drive unit up to fully automatic lifting and lowering with an EJAL system, everything is available. The new Series holds strictly to user requirements. In other words: One tripod-jack can be used for several aircraft models and manufacturers.
But what advantage does the modular building-block system being used provide exactly?

Alfred Siefer is 48 years old and Area Sales Manager at HYDRO. He has a degree in process engineering as well as an engineering degree in mechanical engineering. After several steps in the automotive industry he joined HYDRO in 2001. Siefer is married, lives in Fonsorbes, a small town near Toulouse in France, and has two daughters.

The Delta TechOps shop in Atlanta was to be launched to support Delta’s A350 and XWB Fleet. But that all changed when Rolls-Royce asked Delta TechOps to change gears and ramp up as fast as possible to address the tear-downs with the T1000 issues. HYDRO delivered almost 800 engine tools to help Delta TechOps bring the T1000 engines back into service quickly. What was the quality ratio? And how will the Delta TechOps shop further develop?
