Derby, UK - HYDRO UK, a leading provider of Airframe & Engine Tooling, Ground Support Equipment and Global Service is proud to announce its expansion to a new, state-of-the-art facility. With 96,000 sq/ft of space, this new facility is roughly a third larger than HYDRO UK's previous location, allowing the company to accommodate its growing customer demand and increase operational efficiencies.

Today at MRO Americas 2022 in Dallas, HYDRO Systems signed an agreement with Pratt & Whitney which covers the provision of engine stands and customer support for Pratt & Whitney GTF engines.

HYDRO today announced it signed a global distribution agreement with JB Roche (MFG) Ltd. and Liftsafe Fall Protection Inc. This relationship with JB Roche and Liftsafe Fall Protection will increase product availability and give customers access to even more Ground Support Equipment (GSE) products.

HYDRO has continued its longstanding tradition to donate the proceeds from the raffle held at the annual summer festival to a charitable cause. “Haus des Lebens” in Offenburg-Rammersweiler, Germany, was selected as the beneficiary of this year’s proceeds in the amount of € 3,000.

At the beginning of September, a total of 13 young and talented individuals started their training at HYDRO in Biberach. As of this writing, there are just under 40 young people in the middle of their apprenticeship or training at our various locations, with their chosen fields ranging from mechatronics technicians, to ironworkers, to students completing a dual studies program.

At the beginning of September, a total of 12 young and talented individuals started their apprenticeship at HYDRO in Biberach, Germany. “The best of the best – and I mean it. They were up against a large number of applicants and came out on top,” explains Daniel Geiger, Head of Business Administration Training at HYDRO.

Since 2014, companies and corporate groups that have outstanding achievements in the areas of workplace health promotion and workplace health management have been able to apply for the “Healthy Companies” award. Those that go on to win the recognition can display the corresponding award seal in the bronze, silver, gold, or platinum category at their company location, helping them stand out as attractive employers.

More than a million employees are already benefiting of workplace health promotion campaigns. It is an encouraging sign, especially in light of the rapidly increasing demand for skilled personnel and an aging workforce.
